Dog days

I got a dog to keep me on foot

Sweet Charlotte keeps me busy

A living breathing blood pumping being

Just to track my steps, my time, my mood

I got a man somewhere in town

Far enough to make a hike that’s workout worthy

I made sure he has no motivation nor even a car

There are no pick me ups and i do all the groceries
